Frequently asked questions

While our primary offerings are yoga classes, we absolutely offer other classes as well. Each of our teachers develops their own offerings so check the schedule for all kinds of events! Dream groups, paint nights, poetry readings are offered according to the availability of teachers. Have an idea for a class or event that fits the Cactus Flower Community vibe? Reach out and let’s talk!

You are welcome to bring your own mat or props to any class. We have a selection of mats and props available in the studio for you to use free of charge, so don't worry if you forget anything. We have you covered!

Most drop-in rates are $15 dollars. Most teachers also offer class cards and some offer sliding scale payment options. If you need yoga and also need some help making finances work, please contact us. We are committed to Yoga 4 All!

We do not have any air conditioning so the studio can get warm in the summer. You are always encouraged to dress appropriately and bring water, especially during the summer months.

Our hottest times are typically mid June through mid August. We don’t run a ‘Hot Yoga’ studio though, we want it to be as comfortable as we can make it.

During the winter months we have a heater to keep the studio warm, but we try not to run it too much as it is very expensive and we tend to warm up as the practice progresses.

We are on the second floor of a historic building, so you must be able to navigate one flight of stairs to reach the studio. We are aware that this may present an accessibility challenge to some students. Please reach out if we can help find a way to accommodate more students.

We are working on our Class Proposal Forms. Please be patient with us as we develop the studio. Until then, you are always free to contact us and we are happy to talk about how to bring your class to the studio!
